The Domus Borbonica is located in a palace in the historical centre of Napoli, in a building dating back to the 1600’s, used by the Florentine family Dei Medici during their Neapolitan stays. It preserves the appeal of the era intact, highlighted, in the first place, by the beautiful semi-circular staircase made in original piperno stone, which gives accesses from the ground floor to the first floor, where the B & B Domus Borbonica is located, and by unique rings used to tie horses, the “torch support” and the bracket used to clean the boots that are right next to the old entrance door of the apartment.
The B&B Domus Borbonica was structured in this spirit, though combined with the most modern criteria of comfort and functionality. In fact, as soon as you enter the study apartment you feel a warm and friendly atmosphere, together with tradition and history. The apartment is furnished with authentic vintage pieces that, for several decades, belonged to the owners’ families and that tell their history and the one of the place they come from. Stunning tapestries, vintage tables, prints depicting the city in its most famous and beautiful spots, framing the guest rooms and make them more welcoming.
